Turang Polytechnic Institute (TPI), affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), proudly offers three flagship programs. Nestled in Chandrakot Rural Municipality, Majuwa Bazar, Gulmi—just 27 km from the religious site Ridi—the institute enjoys a strategic location along the main route to renowned tourist destinations like Baglung, Dhorpatan, and Burtibang Bazar.
The institute has been accredited since 2078 to conduct three-year diploma programs in Agriculture, with specializations in Plant Science and Animal Science, as well as in Civil Engineering. The Plant Science program began in the 2078/79 academic year, with the Animal Science program introduced in 2080/81.
Additionally, TPI actively conducts a range of short-term vocational training courses, having already equipped over 500 individuals with practical skills to date.
